Through the Northern Lens is a 10-part documentary series offering an intimate look at life in northern British Columbia. From shifts in local industry and economy to the evolution of Indigenous culture — including the rise of restorative justice initiatives — the series explores the stories shaping the region’s identity. Each episode highlights the people and places driving change, from grassroots athletes to resource stewards, cultural leaders, and tourism advocates. Originally produced for and broadcast on CFTK-TV and CJDC-TV, Through the Northern Lens captures the resilience, innovation, and spirit of the North.
